  1. I love this work! As an astrologer I work with symbols everyday, and the symbolism I work with is that of the energy of the Universe available to us in any given moment in time. When I look at these works of art I’m reminded of the scene from the The Secret Garden when the young girl, Mary Lennox, tells her new friend Colin to open his mouth – that the whole Universe is inside him – a paraphrase certainly, but that’s the general idea. What I get here is that we are the Universe – the Universe is us. The infinite is everything and everything is infinite – we are stardust and as old as time – and we are eternal.

    • wow, amazing michelle! i tell people ALL the time that we are billions of years old both consciously and physically, but most shun my remarks!

i’m glad someone out there also see the universe this way!

is the secret garden a movie or book?

      • The Secret Garden was originally a book written by Frances Hodgson Burnett – I think it came out in the early 1900’s. It was one of my favorite books as a young girl. It has been made into a film at least 3 times. The most recent film came out in the early 1990’s (unless I’ve missed one since then) – just a gorgeous movie! It’s about a young orphaned girl who finds a secret garden on her uncle’s property and how she brings life to everything around her, including a young boy who everyone thinks is an invalid… very touching. You should see it if you haven’t! Watch it with a child…

  2. Her work is a pleasure to view, and certainly has a message. It’s so mind-thwarting though, the first one. And I thought they all “flowed” into each other until I got to the 5th one… I think the last one in the sequence would be a great ending after #4 🙂

Also, be sure to create straw men and argue against things I have neither said nor even implied. Any irrelevancies you can mention will also be appreciated. Lastly, kindly forgo all civility in your discourse . . . you are, after all, anonymous :)
