the synchronous universe conspires…

At the moment of commitment, the universe conspires to assist me.

I’ve been thinking a lot about making a conscious choice to notice synchronistic events—really look for the ways in which the Universe is conspiring with me to succeed.

Now, this topic isn’t new to me. I just go in and out of thinking about it and really paying attention. Lately, I’ve become clear with myself on just how important this is. I’ve been urged by my own inner voice to pay attention, look at the choices that I make and then see how the Universe rallies to support those choices (good or bad!).

As I’ve been thinking about this, I keep “accidentally” hearing people talk about choice all around me. The general message is we have a choice. It doesn’t matter what we choose, but we do need to know that we are choosing! And, what we choose, we tend to see more of-thanks to the good ‘ole Law of Attraction.

So we can choose to believe (and see) all the ways things are falling apart, or we can choose to believe in our Truth, Abundance and Creativity (insert your own word here); and then begin to see how we are led toward those things by further choices and actions, which result from the events that come our way. Sometimes, the events that come our way are those synchronistic happenings that seem to show up when we are clear on what we are choosing, even if we don’t quite know yet how it will happen. It’s the way that Spirit, energy or the Universe (take your pick) helps to move us forward, giving us options to test out and act upon.

Now, sometimes I hear people talk about “synchronistic” events which really aren’t. They are the logical end point to something that has been put in motion. But, there are true synchronistic events. The trick is, we have to know what we want so that we can recognize when we are pointed in a direction that will expand us, and we have to pay attention to our inner guidance. True, we may not know how to get there, but we do know the end result. And if we are not paying attention to our gut feelings or intuition that says, “Turn here,” then we miss out. True synchronistic events are the events that happen that often bring Grace our way, or an ease to life that is so surprisingly delicious we just want more!

The way to get this? Here’s my recipe.

Get quiet. Spend time with yourself and have conversations with your Spirit/ Higher Self. Begin to understand what you want from this higher place.

Once you know, make the choice to act. If it feels right to you— if you are excited about what you are embarking on— choose to act. And act now, as the Universe likes swift action! It’s going to respond when you ask. But you must take some action in the world for what you want. Take that first step. Go where you will meet people, can share your ideas and expect to find a clue on your journey!

Trust yourself. When you get that gut feeling to do something….do it if it feels right, even if it may seem a little crazy. Your answer may be there.

Each and every day, choose to set the stage for expecting what you are seeking to find you. Expect to receive. When you ask the question, listen or look for the answer. It may come in steps, but the answer will be there. Know too that the more you believe this, the more you will begin to see it.

Celebrate those moments when synchronicity and the Universe conspire with you! Acknowledge this as a success: you trusted your gut, you got out there and paid attention, you took some action that brought you one step closer to your goal. These are all things that should be celebrated and given importance. It’s a way to say, “More of this please!”

Will you need to go through the ups and downs of change and growth? Sure. But why make it hard? Make the choice to see the pathway that will take you where you want to go. If you are not looking, you will never find it. But if you are….just think about what may happen!
