The love tap…

A violin

Back when space race was alive, the Russians beat the US to space and successfully launched a man into sustained orbit.  Back then, the inhabitable part of the space capsule for the lonely Russian was very, very small only having one window about 8 inches round.

Wow, finally, the first human ever to observe and look at the planet he was from.  What a view he had – the curvature of the earth, the mesosphere and the blue haze keeping all of earth’s goodies safe and warm inside.  He stared endlessly in wonder and awe out the port window when he was interrupted by a steady tapping

The Russian looked everywhere for the source of the tapping even taking apart most of the control panel.  After a few days of searching the tapping started to drive the Russian mad.  The sound seem to gain volume, made him unsettled and he started to loose a grip on reality.  He had 25 more days to go with this crazy tapping!

The Russian realized that he couldn’t find the where the tapping was coming from and that if he didn’t find it, he’d go crazy.  So he decided to figure out how to live with the tapping.  He closed his eyes and started to drift in thought.  Suddenly, the tapping stopped and it became beautiful music – beautiful music that the Russian actually fell in love with.

What a wonderful and beautiful story of transformative thought and perception.  The Russian was able to change his perception within a situation and not only find peace, but found love – wow.  Simply keep your mind clear and you’ll have peace of mind.  Learn to adjust yourself.

How many times have we found ourselves in a situation in which we *think* we are plagued by an annoying or hurtful tapping.  Many of us get so stuck in either trying to stop the tapping, tear up our lives looking for the tapping, and/or simply rescind into misery because of the tapping.  I think it hurts more to make and allow the tapping to be pain instead of trying to listen to it as music…

Why continue to hear the sound as tapping?

Why not hear tapping as a beautiful music?

Why is it easier foe us to stay miserable instead of just dancing to what ever music plays?

We cannot leave our space capsule, we cannot stop life’s tapping – so learn to simply enjoy and dance with it!  Sometimes I think we as humans are infatuated with how much pain we can cause ourselves and others in a lifetime…

This story was wonderful and as of today, I don’t hear any more tapping…
