DREAM = Does Reality Ever Add Meaning

Just a thought I had to jot…

*******

Red Pill; Blue Pill

Eyes shut, mind open.

Truth revealed.

——-

What is real?

Living defined by the limitless boundaries of my mind,

I find that I am often defined as selfishly blind,

By people with their eyes open and mind closed…to who I am.

——-

I D.R.E.A.M. eyes open; eyes closed.

Does Reality Ever Add Meaning?

The people, creations and things upon which we marvel,

Were conceived when the mind was dreaming…when life met fantasy.

——-

You see, I spend my daze in amazement;

Gazing at the stage that nature left me to play with.

Free in abundant wonder; unconfined by belief.

Free to live in the spoils of my plunder;

A world of rules only defined by me.

——-

I close my eyes to live;

I open my eyes to dream.

  1. I love, love, love this! Thanks for leaving me the link. I especially like this part:

    Free in abundant wonder; unconfined by belief.

    Free to live in the spoils of my plunder;

    A world of rules only defined by me.

    The first line of this part is my favorite. How restrictive our beliefs are and then we find out they are myths interwoven with lies. Ugh! Wonderful poetry, thanks! hugs, pat

Please use the comments to demonstrate your own ignorance, unfamiliarity with empirical data, ability to repeat discredited memes, and lack of respect for scientific knowledge. Also, be sure to create straw men and argue against things I have neither said nor even implied. Any irrelevancies you can mention will also be appreciated. Lastly, kindly forgo all civility in your discourse . . . you are, after all, anonymous :)
